2024-03-04 Test Plan Updates

Compared required updates regarding reviewing technical documentation such as Test Requirement Document and Test plan.

Summary of changes to implement in revising test plan include:

  • Fitting geometry changes
  • Updated loads
  • Updated load introductory hardware geometry
  • Updated strain gauge and LVDT layouts
  • Test configs for different configurations (Z-Direction) and (Y-Direction) vectors

Recently received some updated Test Requirement Definition from Structural Analysis Group.

At a high level, updated requirements include defining usage of:

  • Stiffness representative geometry for load path
  • Hardware – Production vs. Surrogate
  • Material substitutions – as components in question are rated for a higher load than initially considered (AerMet 100)
