Updated test plan and defined loading requirements for crash case
- In the event of a crash, respective fitting must be able to withstand crash loads (9G) case
- Captured additional crash requirements for fittings in question
- Captured load offsets / moment arm extension that define how far away to exhibit pulling loads for fitting static testing
- Clearly defined mechanical design geometry and clearances (loose fits and tight fits for boss slots)
- Loose fit and tight fit defines constraints – tight fit will take all loading as “fixed” slot
